The Zonda is a single-dose dry powder inhaler used to inhale capsule-based medication via a colour-coded piercing mechanism.
Step-by-step instructions
Remove the cover
Remove the cover
Open the inhaler
Twist to open the inhaler
Get a capsule
Separate and peel one capsule blister
Place the capsule
Place capsule in the capsule-chamber
Close the inhaler
Twist to close the inhaler
Pierce the capsule
Pierce the capsule by pressing the side buttons
Release the buttons
Release the side buttons to expose the capsule contents
Breathe out
Breathe out fully
Put inhaler in the mouth
Put the mouthpiece in your mouth
Breathe in deeply
Breathe in quickly and deeply (frrr)
Hold breath
Hold your breath as long as you comfortably can
Exhale
Exhale slowly
No capsule sound or any powder left?
Didn't hear any vibration from the capsule or is there any powder left in the capsule?
Review steps / contact professional
If you didn't hear any vibrating sound from the capsule oscillating in the chamber, or there is some powder left in the capsule after inhalation, you should review the steps in the leaflet that comes with the device and/or seek help from a health professional.
Remove the capsule
After finishing, remove the capsule
Close the inhaler
Close the inhaler and replace the cover
